sneezing

hello!

my piggie has been sneezing ever since I adopted him. I took him to the vet, and I was prescribed Baytril for 10 days. It is day 11 and he still sneezes sometimes. What should I do?

Hi!
Your piggy probably needs another round of Baytril.
I would call your vet as soon as you can.
This happened to my piglets a little while ago. They went through two rounds of Baytril and are feeling much better.

How often is he sneezing? Have you noticed any other symptoms?

he sneezes occasionally! No other symptoms

@BobaTheGuineaPiglet, it might be helpful to let us know what type of bedding you are using. Some types (like shavings) can be dusty and make the piggies sneeze.

I would ask the vet to check him again.
Is it just a very occasional sneeze (clearing dust from hay irritation if he dives in the hay) or something more frequent?

he sneezes about less than 10 times a day before I took him to the vet, it was frequent. I will definitely be making another appointment later today for him.
