Sneezing sound?

On a few different occasions I have heard Winnie making a strange noise, one that I could only describe as a sneezing sound. Is she sneezing? or is this sound something different all together?
 
Guinea pigs can, and do, sneeze. What bedding do you use? Is their hay particularly dusty? If the sneezing is excessive then it would be worthwhile getting your piggy checked out by a vet. Sneezing can be a sign of a URI - this may or may not be accompanied by a runny nose or eyes, or 'croaky' breathing.
 
I knew what a UTI was but wasn't sure about the URI I should have put my brain in gear really. It's fairly obvious isn't it. Thanks folk for your help
 
My little man does this too but he's been doing this for many months. He doesn't seem ill at all. maybe its the laundry detergent I use to wash his bedding. The hay i feed him is dust free. Also using Lysol room spray could also be a factor.

Aerosols are not recommended for use near piggies - I spray polish onto the duster in the hall then attack the lounge :)
Try not using it and see if it eliminates the sneezing ?

Beemo does this too, sometimes when it's really, really sunny outside and he's having his floor and shared veggie time he'll just sit and sneeze! It's amazingly cute but was also worrying at first. We also recently changed washing powder because this seemed to set him off.

I think sometimes, the process of elimination has to be done :)
Washing powders, climate, hay etc.
None of our piggies sneeze since we moved house and put it down to damp we had in the hallway :(
Sensitive little things :...
