This might be a silly question. I am in New York, and the smoke from the Canadian wildfires is out of control. The sun is out of sight and the sky is orange, but I can’t stop worrying for my two boys. Has anyone else ever been in this situation? What can I do to make sure they’re unaffected? We’re inside, windows closed, etc, of course, but I can’t help but wonder if it’ll effect their tiny lungs. Anyone have experience?

Wow, what a situation to be in! I suppose all you an do is keep windows and doors closed, and keep them indoors, as you are already doing! Keep an eye out for any eye or nose discharge, coughing, sneezing or wheezing.
Hopefully it clears soon! 👍

I never thought I’d have to worry about something like this with them! It absolutely reeks of smoke outside. Smells like a bonfire. So scary! As of right now they’re relaxing. Fingers crossed it’s over soon

Hi

Poor you!

You are doing all the right things.

All the best for the wind direction to change soon and the wildfires to stop.
