I've just moved the boys from my bedroom downstairs to the dining room and i noticed (before I moved them) that I'm having to change their cage completely every other day, they are so much smellier than the girls. I have a herd of 6 girls in one cage and I could probably leave them for nearly 2 weeks before the smell was noticeable. Is this normal, what can I do about it?
The boys were both bathed today, much to their disgust! but they still smell, i thought it may have been the hay that was musty but it's the same hay that i use for the girls and smells fine.
They are on fleece over towels that are washed regularly at 40 degrees without softner and also a touch of sanitiser (I used cloth nappies so its' what was recommended to use with them)
So piggy slaves, do you have any hints on how to deal with the stinky boys please?
Thanks
Mandy
