I've noticed this morning smaller, soft poops while spot cleaning the girls cage.

I know this indicates a guy inbalance and I should take them off fresh veg for a couple of days until the poops return to normal but is there anything else I need to do?

I'm sorry to hear this.
Removing veg is the right course of action. I would also switch to daily weight checks so you can more closely monitor hay intake.

If things don’t normalise after a few days off veg or if they are losing weight, then syringe feed, give a probiotic and see a vet

I hope they feel better soon

Thank you, last thing I need right now but I can't neglect the care of my sweet potatoes ❤️

I'll weigh them now. They're acting totally normal and ate with vigour last night. Fingers crossed a couple of days off veg will restore gut balance and all will be well.

A mild gut disturbance is usually sorted with increased hay/no veg in a few days so hopefully that is all it is

Let us know how things go

I will do, weighed them this morning and they've gained since their weight check last weekend.

Poops seem to have a bit more firmness to them this morning, not as wet looking.

There's been a slight weightloss in both piggies. Willow 2g and Blossom 3g.

Is this normal when they're not having fresh veg?

Weight loss is only considered weight loss when it hits 50g. Up until that point it is normal fluctuation - an empty/full bladder or tummy can make a 40g difference.
2g and 3g is nothing of concern at all.
