Hey all, I'm considering buying a small shed for my garden so my boys can moe back in with me for the winter until i can organise things at home, I've found this shed on the B&Q website,

http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.j...efview=lister&ts=1284890957020&isSearch=false

Do you think it'll be big enough if i put shelves in for

The piggies hutch (4x4 double hutch)

and hay/toys/ etc?

If not can you recommend a smallish shed, in the under 200 pounds price range?

:) Thank you so so much! :)

Thant is the first shed we got for our piggies and our double level hutch fits in nicely!

Ooo thank you! I was so worried, it looks a little on the small side by the picture and all the others are way to big for our garden hehe! Thats good to know, i'll be purchasing this soon then :) yay! New shed for the pigs :))

When I was looking for a shed I found it better to go and look at them in person rather than on websites. Cos you can get a feel for how big they really are and you can visualise your hutch and bits in there. I used to think a 6x4 was tiny until I saw one at Wickes it was quite big!

I'd recommend, if you are keeping your pigs outside in the shed, then you pay a bit more and go for a shiplap or tongue and groove shed as it will offer more weather protection and will be better made.

The shed sounds good - you can also line them with the silvered insulating bubblewrap available on a roll. Really helps with the cold nights and stops the draughts to if you tape the seams. Lino on the floor helps to stop the draughts and makes it easier to sweep.

I would say, go toyour local b and q and have a look. This was the shed we wer going to buy last year but when we went into it thee was not alot of space for anything else. We got a 6 x 6 off the web for less that b and q were selling the one you are looking at. This is how it looks now :)

that is amazing! :(|)

We have a 6x4 shed to house our 4' double hutch too. I'm really hoping it'll fit in okay :))

Ours is this one.. http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.202-3623.aspx

It's a bit more expensive than the B&Q one, butit's solid and has a tong and groove style walls (and you get clubcard points if you have a card too :) )

I was actually considering that one too as i have a tesco club card and can get some veggie shopping too tehee! :) Thank you I'll have a juggle of money later and see which one is best :)

Thank you, I was a tad bit confused with all the 'wood tech words' and was wondering what tongue and groove meant, :) thank you so much for explaining this! I'm going to B+Q with my OH tomorrow for a shop about and see which shed can fit in my garden and has room for the hutch too :)

Thank you all for your replies they have all helped there is so much to choose from and its so difficult to see which one is best, will be off for a shop around tomorrow I think the 6x4 size is going to be best for me, will be looking into insulation whilst I'm there and to pick up some lino for the flooring too :) THANK YOU so much people its been so helpful having replies and given me a good idea of what to go for

I would say look at local shed places because they usualy put it up for you as well, whereas bigger diy places don't
