Hi! l'm not sure if this is normal or not but is this little line a cause for concern for my guinea pig's eye? I can assure its not
a glare from the light as I've never seen it on his eye until last night. And it doesn't look like his eye is being irritated by it yet, however, I just want to know if this is normal or an early sign of some kind of eye problem.

I can see the light reflection on the top part is his eye so the little line you refer to definitely is not light reflection.
It may be the start of harmless bony formation - Osseous choristoma - but a vet check would be a good idea to confirm. It’s very tiny at the moment

Hi

This looks normal to me. Your boy is looking a bit apprehensive at ahat is in front of him. The whites of the eyes showing can be a sign of fear.

OP means the little white mark which is within the dark part of the eye

OK. Sorry, my own sight is not the best. It could be the start of bony tissue formation (osseous choristoma) or a deposit of some sort (calcium, fat) but in any case, it rather looks like one of these things that are generally harmless, a bit unsightly and untreatable. Your vet may have a closer look at it the next time you take your piggy for a regular appointment. They are not uncommon and there is range them.
