Hi there,

Recently I have noticed slug trails around my guineapigs and rabbits cages. What can I do to get rid of them in a safe way?

Thanks,

Apparently chalk can work, other than that salt should do the trick. They don't like slithering on anything gritty/sharp.

You can buy copper tape in garden centres. You put it around the bottom of flower pots/ tubs and it stops them climbing up. That might work. Or as Laura says they don't like gritty things, so a thin row of shingle on the ground might do it. :)

Thankyou so much you have helped me alot :D

Or broken egg shells can work too, anything that they don't like slithering over.
