slightly different C&C home

Well my cage is sort of a C&C cage, but I couldnt get very think Correx so my hubby said he would make me a wooden frame to give support for my Correx, which you do need to provide a waterproof barrier. So hubby knocked together a frame big enough to take 5x2 grids, I painted the frame pink and then stuck some stickers on for decoration, then lined it with the correx. I had decided becuase I use fleece I would have the grids sit inside so I could use the frame to tuck the fleece under and keep it in place. Anyway here are some pics,

I have just put the girls in their new home, it is currently in the lounge but it will be moving into the study where their old home is, but I need to make room first as it is so big. I think I will also need to get some more toys.:))

Thanks, they also do that pattern fleece in a candy floss pink with red cherries, I was struggling to pick between the two colours, but hubby pointed out that the black would hide the poops a bit better, although my girls are not too bad at using their litter tray, so I think the pink will be on my list to buy fairly soon, lol. I just love pink I am bit girly like that, lol:(|) Hubby said my cage looks like something you would normally see in a kids bedroom.:(|):(|)

Exactly thats what I told my hubby when I said I wanted to paint it pink! His expression when I first said I wanted to paint it pink was {:|similar to that followed by yellow would be better, pink will be tacky, of course I convinced him otherwise and said it would be pale pink, and of course the stickers came laterrolleyes:(|)
 
Lovely cage. Looks very roomy too. In the second to last picture it looks like they have a little sofa in their cage, when you look quickly.lol
