Sleepy, hungry, naughty piggies! (Chookies and piggy lips)

The girls finally were able to go on the grass, I managed to get them out before it started raining and covered them over with a waterproof table cover. It was the first time in ages that they have been on the grass whilst being cleaned out.
It was as if they had never seen grass before, they didn't stop munching!

and now for the naughties, there are two girlies who are not calm enough to be picked up without a chase and are always last to go back, Miss Ruby and Madam Tia. So as not to scare them I turned the house upside down ready for them to climb into so they could be taken back to the hutch. There was lots of jumping in and climbing through the hole from both girls (At one point Ruby climbed through the hole and I thought she was going to get stuck, her big bottom was poking out one side and her face the other)
But neither girl stayed in the house long enough to be taken back, which was when the naughtiness started.

I think these two are the most dominant pigs and are testing each other for top pig position and doing it moreso when they are alone together. x

At the moment Tia is still a teensy tiny, although she is very like her mum lookswise.
Esme: as a general rule will stay where she is rather than running away, and is always the first in the food bowl or if you have food.
She also has bigger nipples, that are more noticeable than the other two girls.
As well as that I can tell by her face, she has a much more angled face than the other two, and nibbles rather than licking.
Ruby:has a much fluffier 'baby' face, she will lick fingers and faces and anywhere really!
She also has one back toe which bends outwards a little.
She is also very chunky and muscly, whereas Esme is a lot softer.

The nipple trick is a last resort. :(|) I can generally tell them apart, I sometimes find it harder when I look at pictures!

If you saw them all in real life, I'm sure you'd see the subtle differences ;)

Great photos, glad you managed to gt them on the grass! They must have had an ace time. Love your girlies x) x)

But generally i.can tell by faces and skittishness ;)

It's funny how they each have their own quirky little ways and features. I only tend to do the nipple/ toe check to make sure I give the right big girl her medicine, haven't picked the wrong one up for medicine yet! Esme has some cystease every day, with the tiniest drop of blackcurrant, she is very faddy about taking water from a syringe. If I put the syringe through the bars both Ruby and Esme will come up to it, so I often have to take Esme out to give it her :(|)

Glynis! I hope your house/work/everywhere you may see piggy lips are padded ready for your kerplunking! We don't want you hurting yourself ;)

Hey! I'm not that bad! Admittedly, I'm better with faces than names it just takes me a while to learn names. I'm one of those people who will stand there and think ' Now where do I recognise you from? ' hahah.

That was her, 'you've woken me up and don't even have any food! I AM NOT MOVING!' face. If I had anything edible she would be climbing all over the bars.
I think Rosie was dozing off on her lookout watch whilst Esme was fast asleep! x
