For those of you who don't know - this is my little guy Sleepy :smitten: He's deaf and blind and has no front toofy pegs :(
But he's adorable and so happy and he is my world :)

I took him to meet our new vet Kirsty who is fab and she absolutely fell in love with him :smitten: She managed to get a good look inside his mouth and confirmed he has back teeth, top and bottom and they look fine O0 She checked his eyes and ears and said that he's perfectly healthy - despite his disabilities :)
I feel so pleased :D Our other vet couldn't tell whether he had any teeth and was not confident with him unfortunately and due to misdiagnosing our bunny we changed vets - and I am so pleased :) Also at our new vets is Becky who has done the exotics course and has piggies of her own O0
When we got back home George was squeaking for him as if to say where have you been :)

He is utterly gorgeous. I was wondering, if you need to take either of them to the vet again, could you take both? My two girls are almost joined at the hip and can't bear to be apart, and when Marigold had twice weekly vet visits earlier this year for about 6 weeks, I just put Lavender in the carrier with her and they were fine. Our vets didn't mind.
Sleepy must have a very good sense of smell to compensate for sight and sound - and probably George helps him too.

Gorgeous young man, glad you seem to have found a piggy savvy vet!

By the way, you've got the same sofa as me, although yours looks in far better condition than mine! ;D

He is the most grogeous piggie ever. Poo little thing but he looks happy. xx

Thank you for your lovely comments :) I was going to take George with him but the carrier I bought to put Sleepy in was unfortunately too small for George to get his 1408 gram :o body in and poor Sleepy would have had to sit on top of him :D I need to buy another carrier for large piggies O0

I have a proper piggie carrier for Basil, but when the girls go together I use a cat carrier which is top opening, I and found a washing up bowl the exact shape and size of the carrier which sits in the bottom, and I put newspaper and hay in it so there's room for both.

sleepy is absolutely gorgeous might have to piggy nap him :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: so glad things went well at the vets and that you are happy with your vet O0 sending hugs and healing vibes and extra hugs for george :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
