This is a Dumb question but here goes do piggies sleep more when they aren't feeling well a bit like us? ever since hes caught an ear infection (again!) he sleeps and eats and then sleeps again inbetween biting my fingers off in protest at his medicines

I found with both our boys who both had probs over the years when they weren't well they'd be a bit more sleepy, but as i was away thru the day it was only on the weekends i'd see this...........

I would imagine so, sometimes its only watching the piggies behaviour that we would notice something was amiss so presumably pigs either that weren't 100% would sleep more. I know when Maisie became ill her lack of enery/ sleepiness was one of the first things I noticed.

When Artie was ill with his uri he just slept all day i think sleeping does help them recover just like us
