Well, I bought a couple of these for the piggies hoping to replace the pigloo they currently sleep/hide in. Unfortunately, I haven't taken out the pigloo yet because when I go into the cage that is where they run into and hide and I feel a bit mean about wanting to take out their hideout. Anyway, I put the sleeping bags (is that the correct name for them?) in the cage to see what they would do. Kwazii has been chewing the one, sat on top of it and tried to drag it into the pigloo. Other than that they haven't gone inside either of them.

I even bought them a cuddly toy since reading it was a good idea on here. I got it from the charity shop and when the woman served me, she commented on how happy the kids would be with the new toys (yes I bought two), and I told her that the kids weren't having the toys it was the guinea pigs who were. I think she found that somewhat amusing. Anyway, put the toys in and the boys just haven't bothered with them. I suppose it'll take time to get used to them being in the cage.

I'm sure they'll explore the new bits and bobs sooner or later.
I always look at the soft toys in charity shops for my dogs. Apparently lots of people go in for 'pets' toys! Certainly beats the prices of 'proper' pet toys. :(|)

Aww bless I wouldn't take the pigloo out tbh as it does give them somewhere extra to hide. I have two of the sleeping bags, one gets used mostly as intended, the other one gets flattened and used as a blanket lmao!

I think it can just take a while for guinea pigs to get used to new things.
