Sleep Nibbling?

I've just moved my cage so it's in view from the sofa and was watching Dutch asleep. Do Guineas sleep nibble? It looked like he was fast asleep but his lips were moving! Was he just chewing with his eyes closed or has anyone else seen this? Tried to catch on film but I moved and woke him! So cute!

By coincidence, I happened to see my smallest guinea Pip doing the same thing yesterday! He was curled up on his side having a lovely nap & he really looked as if he was dreaming of eating some hay or a particularly delicious bit of veg just as you describe, he was nibbing in his sleep. Very cute
