A family got in touch with me recently. They had got two sow sisters as babies about 9 months ago and were puzzled as one of them (Blade) was bullying her sister (Unicorn).
They ended up separating them but they looked very unhappy so were unsure what to do.
On asking a little more it seemed they were kept in a 100cm cage like this

The family were about to go away for a few days so l offered to board the girls for the holiday.
I put them in a 4x2 C&C (for less than £30!)
They were very shy at first but before long were popcorning and wheeling and running around. No fighting. No bullying.
The family built a C&C cage and sent me some photos when the girls got home.

Result. Two happy piggies and one happy family. All for sake of a few extra inches of cage space.

Thank you to Blade and Unicorns family for seeking help and advice and for following that advice to the letter!

Well done.
I have to admit all the way back to 2008 when I got my first 3 pigs I couldn’t understand why they were arguing, it was for the same reason and I found that out from the forum, realising their cage was too small and bought a big ferplast. Happy pigs indeed!
Great result and story!
