When introducing boars what are the signs of submission? At the moment I'm seeing Spike showing lots of dominance. but how do I know if Chewies letting him be boss, at the moment Chewies just sitting there squeaking and struggling when Spike tried to mount him.

Also every so often Spike will just randomly lie down which his head on the floor looking dead, and then he's get up, its like he's waiting to see what Chewie will do. What does this mean?

Sorry i cant help but only started to introduce my boars today, so would be interested in finding this out

I've recorded most of the first introduction so once I sort the files out I'll put them up here some time :) I think they would be useful to a lot of people as when I first introduced my firts set of boars I didn't have much of an idea of what to expect.

Seperated them for a bit now, hopefully Spike will be nicer to Chewie tomorrow, he was trying to pull out fur, but Chewie was too quick for him.

Hi Poison
Just wondered how old the boars are? Are they brothers?

Usually there is a dominance thing when bonding boars or sows together.
Have you tried them on neutral ground, i.e. spare hutch?
