Hi guys this might be a dumb question but I’m just curious to know really- love learning about behaviour in guinea pigs! So I’ve recently brought two baby girls home (11 weeks old) and they seem to be getting very comfortable and happy in themselves which is amazing! Anyways when I stroke the girls they both literally yawn, lay down and sprawl out, it’s the cutest thing! I was just wondering whether they do this because they are content and relaxed or the opposite? I’ve read in the past that yawning is a sign of a warning? What do you guys think? I’d like to think that they do this because they are happy but I might be completely wrong and it’s a sign of agitation lol

Awww it sounds like they're really enjoying it

(There's no such thing as a stupid question, if you need to ask a question, ask away- it's what the forum is here for! :)
