Shy Little Meg Spam!

@SkyPipDotBernie I have found a pigture of Meg from February so you can see how much she weighed then.

Her heaviest weight was July last year at 1175g when she had been stuffing grass most days.

I am SO relieved to see this as Ellen weighed in at 1180g this time last year. She’s been hovering around 1000g for the past few months. My vet can’t find anything wrong with her and apart from her IC, she’s perfectly healthy.

Dot went up and down alot with her weight with that tumour. I wasnt concerned much because i know she was only not eating as much because of the pain. I layer the whole cage floor with hay so that they can eat in their hideys. Its when a pigs weight drops every day that i worry. If they go up and down even if its alot. I dont worry too much

Do you find her difficult to get a clear photo? My black gerbil Shadow doesnt show up well on camera. These pics above are pretty good though

Thanks. It is quite hard to get a decent photo of her especially when she is so very shy. I give all my piggies 2 dandelions each every morning in the spring/summer and it took nearly a fortnight for her to come and quickly grab one of them out of my hand and run off when the others where there at the door of the hutch practically eating my fingers to get to them! Strange really as she has been handled from birth but it what makes her her I suppose.

Must be like us too. Some of us are shy and some not. I do like both in guinea pigs
