Hi all,

I came home with big bags of shredded paper that was about to be garbage. It has light coloured ink on it and is shredded into fine bits. I need to know if this is safe and effective to use as a bedding only in the kitchen and pigloo area. Thanks :)

:D Is the paper shredded into long strips or into small pieces? Piggies can get tangled up in long strips of paper, so best not use it in that case. But if it's in small pieces (has been cross-cut) then it should be okay. They may eat some of it, but as long as they don't eat too much, they will be all right. It should make very soft, absorbent bedding.

Yes, they are shredded into small, fine bits so it should be fine. Thank you for the reply :)
