I must confess, I'm quite addicted to cute fleece hideys. Luckily, my piggies love fleece hideys as well. They don't care about the pattern, but they love to sleep all cuddled up.

At the moment, hammocks are very popular.

An old time favourite are fleece tunnels like this:

But these tunnels are also popular:

When it comes to other hideys, the favourites are not as clear.

These are nice to look at, but there is not really enough space for a grown guinea pig.

These hideys are more popular, but not as popular as tunnels.

What kind of fleece hideys do your piggies prefer?

This is the first tunnel I ever made, Posh and Ginger like to cosy up inside it now. It’s very old I made two for Bill and Ted, they are still going strong, if a bit scruffy

This is my favourite cosy that I ever made for my Etsy shop, a custom order from a lady who already bought tunnels and cuddles cups from me and wanted the cubes to match. It took quite a bit of work making sure all the outside edges where oversewn

Pepper loved his cosy cabin 🌈

Pringle also loves the first ever tipi I made them not sure how it’s still standing but it is!

Do Misty and Miss Bramble still fit into this fleece hidey? Miss Bramble looks so sweet and small in this pigture.
And our One and Only girl
That's quite a big Snugglesack or does it only look this big in the picture?

Sometimes the oldest fleece tunnels are the most loved ones.
The cubes are great.
I wish I could sew my own fleece hideys.
On the other hand, I would probably have to look for a bigger place to live. Imagine how much fabric I would probably buy in addition to my wool collection.

Misty fits in the hidey and Bramble still tries to fit next to Misty and gets a nip for her struggles so no they don't really fit side by side anymore. Looks can be deceiving. Bramble has grown into a very cheeky madam!

The Snugglesack is normal size it just looks big in the picture.

I am a fabric and fleece addict! OH says he will be living on our little boat next, there’s no cupboard with an inch of space in it 😜

I am self taught so have a go, I find it really relaxing like gardening!

My two go through phases of liking different beds.
Usually they like hammocks in the spring but are bored of them by the summer (I don’t provide them in the winter).
My boar likes to find the warmest bed possible one the hottest days while my seven year old sow who can no longer cope with anything below 17 degrees likes to sleep on the floor of the cage on the coldest days!

They sometimes like cuddle cups (not sure what other people call them!) and fleece tunnels, but only sometimes!

A general favourite seems to be a really annoying bed that the website I got it from no longer sells, it is a big thick piece of curved foam with a thin piece of fleece underneath. It is at least reversible to remove the hair, but the stitches keep coming undone!

Other days the only acceptable thing is a pee pad under a log bridge, or on top of a random snuggle sack dragged into the middle of the cage.
They seem to like keeping me on my toes!🙂

Nothing wrong with wanting a bit of change...
and keeping one's slave on her toes. :inn:

We only have fleece tunnels (very popular to sleep in and on!) but I've got a couple of different things coming in the new year, can't wait! We also have a doughnut bed that wasn't popular with Harry's previous friends, hoping to get that washed and given a try with his new friends soon.

I've got my eye on a few more things but the good stuff is all handmade and therefore (rightfully) expensive, it's taking a while to build up our collection...

The larger tunnels have proved the most popular as they can be occupied by more than one piggy.

IMG_6211.webp Not quite such a big fleece tunnel

It’s the corner tunnels that mine like the most. Straight tunnels are for running through, and an occasional nap

Firstly, I promise this has just been cleaned - the dried food showered the fleece with dust and now it looks even scruffier than the dirty one 😅

Just couldn't resist coming and showing off our new fleece forest and ladybird hides (placement still under review...). Forest an tunnels been thoroughly popcorned through, hoping the cozie will see some sleepy pig use once they've finished eating 🥰

I love the colours! 😍 Those fleece bedding, are they Kavee's? How is it when it comes to absorbency? Do they shrink too after washing?

They are! Never noticed any shrinkage (even after my dad tumble dried one while pig sitting), nor any pools of liquid sat on the surface or anything 👍 I quite like them really, bar the price, and the piggy verdict seems to be that they're comfy to kip on! They're about a year old now and still in good nick 😊
