Bribed the boys to sit still yesterday so we could take some photos. Whilst Peanut froze to the spot in fear gready Spike hoovered up the grass. He was munching so quickly in case Peanut decided he wanted some after all, that it's blurred in the photo.
Poor Peanut really is scared of humans when he is out of the cage. I don't know why other than he has a timid nature, nothing dreadful has happened to him since we had him when he was 3 months old (he was two in october). Maybe something bad happened before he came to us. I handle him everyday and talk softly to him, if he sits on my lap he just shakes. I feel bad sometimes handling him but feel it needs to be done, oneday he may need vet treatment. When he's in the cage he will let you stroke him and he will be hand fed, he even takes water from a syringe which I give them occasionally just so they are used to it just in case.
Aww, Peanut looks so, so shocked! Duncan's fairly timid like that, but loves a good cuddle. He's sort of calm but also shy, some pigs are naturally scared- some more than others. Pigs do hoover things up, don't they?!
Haha, I've got some dysons too! Poor peanut. He does look worried. I have had piggies like that though ... It just seems to be in their nature some times. He is exceptionally handsome though
