My guinea pig’s vet said that there aren’t vaccinations to keep guinea pigs from sick. Are there really no vaccinations at all, whatsoever? Of course, I’m trying to keep my guinea pigs from getting sick, but are there any vaccinations I can ask for next time I go?

It’s a relief that unlike rabbit keepers we don’t need to vaccinate against any diseases.

Yes as well as not having the worry of a deadly disease like RVHD and myxi like in the rabbits.

As I am a rabbit keeper I do spend £100 a year on the triple vaccinations for my girls. The fear I have particularly of RVHD which kills within hours is not nice.
