Has anyone got any pictures of how they have used a shoe box in the guinea pigs cage? Looking for a few ideas :)
 
I have just cut a doorway in each end and filled the tunnel with hay, they also like pulling out the hay that sticks out from the sides. Sorry about the netting in the pic...

I also just cut a door way in one end and then turn it upseide down. They love it
 
I do that with mine, too. They all love that, except Dougal. The first time I gave him a shoe box hide he flipped it over and lay in it like a bed, so now he always has one of his sofas, as we call them. Some newspaper and a bit of Aubiose in the bottom, topped off with a mattress of lovely soft hay, and he is one happy piggy. The funny thing is, he never wees or poos in there like he does his other hides and beds...is that the ultimate piggie accolade? :D
 
Ok right i have cut a hole in one side and turned it upside down so the lid is on the bottom and stuffed with hay, they are wondering what the hell it is lol
 
Yeah one of the guineas loves the cardboard box and sleeps in it :)
