Sheltie personalities?

Calling all gorgeous Sheltie owners:
Theos wives are Shelties and I wanted a heads up on what youve all experienced their natures to be like?
 
Terry is a sheltie crossbreed so don't know if it's any help but he's super laid back :))
 
Wallace is a sheltie cross, he used to be quite timid but is fairly laid back now.
 
i think my 'beau' is a sheltie cross. she is so gentle and placid - even after seeing her sister killed by a hungry unloved cat she still is very trusting. this happened before i owned her by the way.

My sheltie boy is an absolute dream - always been very laid back - he's almost like a baby sometimes as he sits on the upper level shouting loudly and only calms down when i take him out the cage. If i call him, wherever he is, he will come running to the side of the cage x)x)

When he had a URI and had to be separated from his peruvian cagemate - he used to bite the bars of the cage and wheek loudly till someone opened the cage door. He would then hop out of the cage and climb up me and kiss my face then go down and do it all over again. Only time he would stop is if i took him downstairs and sat him on the table so he could see/hear the other pigs.

We played a game the other night where he would come to the side of the cage (front paws on the cage bars) and he would give me a kiss on the hand and i would stroke him - however just as i touched him he would go on a popcorning frenzy, doing laps of the cage. After a few seconds he would liue down next to his cagemate, waiting for me to call hbim over and he would do the same again x)x)x)

I absolutely love shelties x)x)
 
My Sheltie Pickles is the complete opposite to what everyone else is saying mallethead She's a complete nutter, I always joke to my mum that someone's spiked her dinner because she's constantly hyper and is constantly yelling :)) That said, switch on Eastender's and she shuts up and watches it :x She's very loving, and likes to lick people's faces and chatter in your ears. She's strange... :)) Wouldn't change her for the world!
 
Oh a mixed opinion then. I heard they were nuts until they got a little older and then they totally chill out- I wonder if thats right.
 
Sir Finley Pig is a sheltie, do I need to say more?! ;) :))

He's wonderful, let's me cut his nails, give him a hair cut and then bath and blow dry him - all without any fuss! Loves the attention and a cuddle but loves his wife pigs more! He's very vocal and often sways his hips around the cage chattering away to anyone/pig that will listen!

I love shelties!
 
I have had a sheltie in the past and she was a sweet little thing with a lovely nature, sadly missed.:(

It gives me lots of hope Theo will bond with his sheltie wives. I've had difficulty bonding him with males and my mum reckons he's too human to have any piggie manners and he's going to fight with them.
I have my fingers firmly crossed as all theses shelties seem very very lovely x

Fingers crossed for Theo - who wouldn't want wife pigs? Finley had to bend over backwards to make Mabel like him :)) he treated her like a lady and never pushed it! All in the name of love! x)

But that is sir finlay pig. Famous for his nature!Theo is far from a gent, during floor time he legs it and is frantic tog et in with the girlies and tries to groom and nibble them through the bars. Very domineering. I hope the sheltie girls are laid back- eeeeek. I don't think he will stop until he's had his wicked way. His so norty rolleyes
