Clean out day has rolled around again, Shelly has taken it upon herself to be my 'helper' this week. Daisy and Delilah were too busy scarfing down hay to join in this time :lol!: (Daisy is under the rather large lump of hay at the top of the last picture..

Awww Shellybean has the cutest piggy bottom!

Is that a custom cage with melamine and acrylic? It looks great.

I'm planning to do one of these soon. Is there a cage build thread or could you give me any information about how you made it. I'm hoping to have an acrylic front panel that is removable for cleaning and floor time. Thanks x

Unfortunately ive no idea how it was made as I ordered it from an animal housing company :xd: id never manage to build something myself! All I know is it is marine plywood with a bitumen treated base painted with white ronseal and a perspex window. I wouldnt know how to put it together though, sorry! :) I can't wait to see yours when you build it though!

Can you remember the name of the company?

I love that photo of Shellybean the conqueror of the shavings. Such a pretty helper.

She's a sweetie isnt she XD she's inspired me to try to figure out something for them to dig in, she was having a great time!

It was SK animal housing, they have a facebook page, based in yorkshire :) lovely people!

My Frodo does anything but help! In fact he's quite a hinderance! Any part of the cage I'm about to clean he's there. Sometimes he will just lie down in the spot that I need to get to so I have to keep shifting him over. I think Shelly might need to point him in the right direction and have a word or two XD

My Sam is a ‘helper’, you can guarantee as soon as I’m about to pour the Aubiose in, he runs and stands under it!
