Shelly update

Shelly arrived with us on the 18th February! She felt like a bag of bones, with a jaw that didn’t move, weighing 360g, despite being 7 months old! Her previous owner had tried to get appropriate treatment for her and she’d had dentals under GA with no success whatsoever!

Fast forward to now and with the correct treatment and the wonders of Zithromax, this is her today! She’s now completed one box of azithromycin and will start a new box today!

Shelly eats totally for herself and needs no syringe feed top ups! She lives with Clover (another forum success story), Maude and neutered boar Buster!

Wow! This mornings weigh in!

Shelly is well and truly on a roll now! Could she even make 600g before seeing uncle Simon on Thursday?

I honestly didn’t hold out a huge amount of hope for Shelly, when she first arrived, but miracles do happen, thanks to Simon’s amazing skill! We couldn’t do what we do without the wonderful team at The Cat and Rabbit Care Clinic

She’s eating completely normally, but still needing two weekly dentals as they’re not wearing correctly! As long as she gets the fortnightly tidy up she’s able to eat like any other piggy!
