Hi
I'm struggling to see my piggies in the shed due to lighting. I have tried push ones and on with a corder from b&m but far too dim.
I struggling spot cleaning and feeding them in the light and need something stronger. thinking big touch maybe the answer.
Any one else having this problem

Thanks
Vickie

Hi,

I use the push light ones, and I can see fine. Two is enough in each hutch but I guess in a shed you would need a lot more lighting. You can buy the halogen lamps which give a lot of light, not sure how long they last.

I use a fantastic solar led light in my free-range shed. It wasn't cheap but it's really super and even on a short, dull winter day it charges enough for about 2 hours of light

I got a solar light off amazon which was around £25 - not cheap but is a bit better than normal shed solar lights.

Recently we have bought a rechargeable lantern from B&Q. There are two brightness settings and the charge lasts up to 15 hours. This is working out very well because we bring it in to charge in the morning amd take it out and leave it on all night for the piggies. The new lantern was around £20.

I have a head torch as it is easier to use your hands that way. Do consider getting rechargeable batteries for it as mine does eat batteries.
I also use this light which is rechargeable and lasts for about 5 hours. I find that this light is really bright.

Thanks for all these ideas.
Think I'll try the one off amazon first at 12.74 and then if not a rechargeable lantern.
Not though of the head torch so may look now at this.
Thanks all

I have this in my shed
MicroSolar - Super Bright - Lithium Battery - 60 LED Solar Shed Light - Power Adjustable
from Amazon, was £40 but is so worth it - charges no problem even in winter and good strong light in shed - got this as was fed up with getting batteries for torches and also it's great to have it hanging from the ceiling, so I have my hands free for the piggies!
