I know it’s currently summer but I’m thinking ahead about how I can make my shed warmer this winter. The pigs have already spent one winter in there but it was so cold I worry about them being outside again this year. I’m just looking for peoples ideas on things I can do to keep it warm. The walls and roof have polystyrene on them for insulation and that is covered with another layer of plywood. The hutch which is in the shed itself has foil insulation on its roof and walls and a second layer of plywood. They have many cosy beds etc. So yeah I would love other ideas please if you have any ☺️

My piggies live in a fully insulated playhouse all year round and they're absolutely fine :D
You could get a heat lamp to go in the shed if you're worried :)

Is your shed warmer inside than outside because mines isn’t, my bottles totally freeze in winter too even with bubble wrap and socks over them

Mine stays warm in the winter, there bottles don't freeze 😐
They have a 4x4ft playhouse, insulated with foil bubble wrap stuff and they have a light that gives off heat (just a standard light bulb not a heat lamp) It stays nice and warm through the winter :)

Maybe it’s just that I don’t have a heat lamp, I’m always scared to use a heat source incase something catches fire 😩 and I don’t have electricity that goes up to the shed
