Hello all,

Hopefully putting up my new shed this weekend, (yippee!),BUT i'm not sure what to do about keeping it warm in the cold weather. Its right down the bottom of the garden and putting electrics all the way down there is just not very practical.

I've got some snugglepads, but does anyone else have this problem?, and if so, how did you get round it. I daren't use a greenhouse heater as the fumes would be nasty.

Cheers Ali

some insulation on the roof, polystyrene sheets work a treat Pumpkinpiggies hubby made a light that heats the shed at a small cost but if you arent having electrics then that option probably isnt for you. Blankets over the cages at night a curtain over the door. I am sure there are even more options.

Tesco are currently selling some thin foil insulation which is meant to be very good, if you line all of the inside apart from the floor it will be kep warmer in the winter and this will also keep it cooler in the summer.
