Shed final update...

Thank you for your patience reading my posts, but today I updated the hutches...well renovated them actually whilst the pigs enjoy grass time.
Here’s a before and after shot.

In addition I’ve now utilises the fly screens from the original hutch huggers with Velcro so that when the stable doors are open the flies stay out. Plus they can be pulled up and out of the way.
Oh and I used Cuprinol garden shades stain and dried really quickly.

Thanks darling, I just thought now how do I stop the flies? Always had a thought of the flies etc but didn’t want to pay out more as the shed was £1,100 as bespoke, carpet tiles free, wood stainer was £30, plus the building of the base (I didn’t pay for )

Still have outdoor run, shelving, electric hook up for the lights, fan, heater and eventually fridge! Oh and set aside vet fund which has gone completely....

So naturally I didn’t want to spend anymore on fly screen and the bits and bobs to erect it. I borrowed...er hum.... some Velcro strips from work and stuck/nailed them to the edge. Now they are fixed all round.
I may have accidentally borrowed some other items too but all for a good cause

Thanks Vicki - now giving them the full red carpet treatment as we say in my office, albeit the green carpet treatment. Jellicoe and Beatty enjoyed their new floor time exercise on Friday whilst their hooman was working hard to earn a crust to pay for their supper!

Finally getting the set up I've always dreamt of having...plus I have a spare hutch currently.

All working out fabulously.
