I was just wondering if people mix their groups up during floor time?

I was wondering if it would be safe to let all my pigs roam together or is it asking for trouble? I wouldn't leave a mixed group unsupervised. They are all girls and one neutered boar who is counting down the days until he has his girlfriends.

Obviously this is something for future not now as he is not "safe" yet and also I want him to be fully bonded (maybe a month or longer after bonding) before I start mixing them (if it is possible)

The only reason I would want to do this would be so they all could play out for longer in a bigger space as I either have to set up 2 smaller areas or make them take turns at present. I have been off work for three months so they are taking turns and taking over my life lol. but when I go back on 30th december to fit them all in they would only get 2 hours each playing out in the big area.

I would not risk it. They are likely to teeth chatter and feel the need to form a new hieracy. Maybe once your boar is safe you can bond them as one group instead.

Okay I thought it would be a risk so I won't do it, I do not want any of my existing groups to fall out, I do not think I can bond them all together unfortunately, there are 6 in total but the 2 older girls do not get on! I Will only have 2 groups instead of 3 soon so that will help!

You can say that again. It wasn't so much that they had a bloody fight but Mrs mouse was bullying lacey and would not let her have 5 mins peace
