It was a quite a few years ago and my two guineas Ted and Henry were having floor time when I hear Henry squeezing like crazy in the hallway. I ran to him and found Ted had climbed the stairs and got stuck! Poor Henry was calling to try and help him! I took a snap of Ted and rescued him! He never went near the stairs again!

One of my first piggies was a boar called Pepi.
He loved nothing better than playing chase on the lawn.
I would chase him, stop and he would jump on my lap then he was off again.
One day my mother saw this and thought I was being cruel so she called me in and was surprised to hear Pepi wheeking as loudly as he could for me to come back and play with him.
This was the 1970s and he still holds a special place in my heart

I turned around for (I kid you not) 5 seconds to grab a bowl of pellets from the pink tub I store food, hay etc... and both of my boys had jumped down from off my bed and were right behind me, must’ve heard the bag!
They like to learn tricks and while I don’t really have a story to tell about that I have always found it fun. I’ve taught them to jump over things, stand on their back legs, jump onto my lap and spin around!

At veg time (dindins) Meg has the loudest wheak and sounds like she's being murdered and Christian has developed his wheak to be nearly as loud. If it is near dindins time I get told this in no uncertain terms that I ought to be giving them some veg. I hold out though til after 7pm unless I'm off out for the evening.

We have two skinny pigs and three haired piggies who have floor time in adjoining runs. When the skinny pigs were young and only small, Peggy (who is a larger lady) escaped from her run and got into the skinny pig's run (she is a proper Houdini). The young skinnies both ran towards her, she scarpered and tried to hide in one of their skinny pig size cardboard tunnels. Unfortunately she didn't fit and was stuck in there with head out of one and and back feet out of the other end. I come running in from the kitchen as i hear very loud squealing and had to very carefully remove her from the tunnel. Thankfully the only only thing hurt was Peggy's pride!

Both runs are now Peggy proof and we have had no further escapes.
