shampoo q - noo idea which secton this goes in!

New piggie owner here - I've spared my ladies the terror of bath night thus far but I'd like to be sorting it out ready for when I feel they're a bit more settled (they're a bit mucky but no skin conditions or bugs to worry about)

So - I have 2 long haired (I think a peruvian and a sheltie) and a satin - what piggie poo would anyone recommend and any idiot-proof tips to prepare us all for piggie+water night?

When you bathe, make sure that you do the "elbow" test to check that the water is not too warm, but not too cold either.

Some piggies prefer a little "island" in the middle of the bathtub or sink, others want to be bathed sitting on your arm. Just be braced that you may end up rather damp as well.

I've ordered the Posh n Go... touchwood they'll all be flicking their shiny tresses about once they've had a bit of a wash with it - either that or I'm going to have beautifully conditioned hands, arms, towels, bathroom tiles, trousers, t shirt etcetcetc

And thanks for the link to the other thread... I shall away now to see how other people manage to keep the piggies and the shampoo in the same rough vicinity

I bathed my three yesterday with Posh 'n; Go - there is a thread showing the piccies here somewhere!

I have one that will stand in the water and be very well behaved (Marty), one that wants to have her front feet on my arm/hand (Caramel) and one that jumps, tries to escape, squeal at me (Barbra). Each piggie reacts in a different way - have fun with it and I would recommend blow drying on a low heat - before Caramel's trim she would look fab as if she has just had a bouffant hair do |)
