shaking piggy ? :S

well my boy twix isnt used to being held he is very skittish and trembles when i hold him, could this be due to fear? when i stroke him under his chin he stops trembling do you think this calms him? I'm a little unsure is all (:

When piggies are young and skitty and not been handled loads, then yes they can sometimes shake. Please dont worry too much, he will soon tame and get used to being handled. It all takes time.

there we are worked that time hehe well i can see it :S ... haha he was all cuddled up in his blanket ^^ and yes i understand I just got a little worried but after I wrapped him up and covered his head with the blanket he seemed to calm, I just havent had him or Rolo, my other boy, do that before so i was a bit like :O OH NO! hehe
 
Sometimes my girls still do a bit of shaking but usually with some little gentle strokes and me softly talking to them they settle down again :)

It's good that you picked up on Twix's little shivering.... show's you're observant and caring piggie slave! :)

Thank you haha I truly am ! The last couple of days I haven't had chance to hold them because uni is starting again and I have been making a new group for freshers and I am volunteering at the local animal rescue and also going o rugby! So I felt soooo guilty! They still seem pretty happy though, popcorning all round it seems ! :D
 
Thank you so much ! I will be sure to do that! It's just so difficult I have a busy couple of weeks coming up ! haha ... After these couple of weeks though I will be returning back to being a full time guinea slave xx>>> and I must say I am quite looking forward to it ! (Not that they dont have me running round after them already!) :p
