We bought a 3 month old female guinea at our state fair and were shocked when it had babies! The babies are 3 weeks old now and, from our research, we need to separate them asap. I have looked at way too many pics trying to learn about sexing them. If I am correct, I think the first two are boys and the last a girl, but I'm not super sure about the second one. Can anyone confirm please? We don't want all these babies and we definitely don't want more! Thank you for your time and feedback.

Hi and welcome

What little cuties! Glad that all has gone well. ❤️

Baby 1 and 2 are both boys, so you can separate and keep them together as a pair.
Baby 3 is a daughter who can stay and live with her mother in another pair.

Brace for some group establishing dominance as the babies become a full member of a hierarchical group, including the baby sow.

Lucky you! That is actually the best possible outcome. :tu:

While boars growing up with sows in the room develop a calming compound, they should not live next to each other with full sight and interaction through the bars since the pheromones from sows in a strong season can still trigger potential fall-outs in especially teenage boars. At the least they will need an opaque divider that is larger and higher to prevent pheromones from drifting across.

You can find more tips on sows and boars in the same room in chapter 3 of our boar guide.
