Harrison my 8 month old boar, tries humping any boar, I have tried him with, he will try to hump any part of the piggie he is quick enough to mount.
We got him as a pair with Brian but had to separate then, Brian lives with Mr Bumble now and Brian on the odd occasion will mount Mr Bumble when ever they are in the run but never when they are in the cage.
Now I have tried Harrison with Mr Bumble, and Bumble got humped.
We tried him with Mervyn and Mervyn got humped.
I tried him with Honkey and they ad a fight.
I tried Harrison with 2 babies and they were humped....
So is Harrison a sex pest or will he calm down? If so at what approx age, will he calm down?
I do not want to get more piggies and then just keep buying more cages, due to space and I already have 9 piggies in my bedroom.
Or will he always be just a dirty ole man, who has to live by himself?
he loves human attention, he gets loads of love, cuddles, chin rubs etc....
He wheeks really loud and flaps his ears and he popcorns all day long.
Or should I give him the chop and get him a girlfriend but will he constantly pester a girlie?
By the way this is a real question and no I have not been drinking!

I would think he may be a perv, my Toddie is a hump-meister & lives alone after humping one time too many ::)

I would think neutering would stop him humping but maybe not to start with, ie when he first meets his girl but i'm pretty sure his advances if they are not wanted will be stopped either with a swift back-kick to the chops or a spray of urine to the face. This is how one of my sows got her "I'm not interested" message across. ;D ;D

a spray of urine to the face, I wish I had known that as a teenager, I could of tried it myself, then may be I would not of been a teenage mum lol. >:D

Oh is he still causing you headaches?
Bless him he's just over sexed i suppose......... if he's happy to be in cage by himself but beside some friends i'd not worry O0 Is he ok if supervised and out with the boys?
Good luck with the little man >:D

I was about to post exactly the same question as we also have a sex pest. Goggles are advisable when he's out on the lawn with another boar, he's that bad !

I'm seriously considering having him castrated as at present he can't be left with any other piggy for this reason. Hoping maybe he'll calm down a bit after this.
So sorry, can't help with an answer but will let you know if I find a solution to the problem.
