TWICE this evening, Oreo and Twinkie have removed the food bowl from its no-spill mount and brought it down from the balcony without spilling any food. I have no idea how they did this.

(Yes, bad cage -- we've just adopted these pigs from another family and are working on something better.)

They clearly have their own ideas.
Just a helpful suggestion - you might want to put an absorbent layer on the plastic floor under the substrate to help absorb wee.

Guinea pigs somehow tip over all bowls, mine do it everyday.
 
Well, that's the amazing bit -- they didn't tip it over. They managed to get it downstairs without spilling any food! Twice.

This morning we gave them a paper lunch bag to play with, and that's distracted them from the food bowl. And here I thought I was easily amused.
