I just went out to feed the piggies and close them in for the night when I saw this 😱 he’s booked in tomorrow for 8:30. Kids will be in their PJ’s

Oh dear. Bless. Great you’ve got an early appointment (not for the kids though). Hope it will be sorted out quickly.

These things always happen at night or weekends! Much better that it’s happened before the Bank Holiday weekend and you can get him seen tomorrow. Hope it soon clears up.,

Oh goodness, I’d forgotten about the bank holiday! Good thing indeed.

Will let you know how it goes tomorrow. I’ll have to take Toffee as I think he misses him when he’s away.

Toffee is doing a good job of looking after his friend. They were like that for a couple of minutes. Fudge has been hiding pretty much all the time. And of course Toffee had to have a chin scratch from the vet 🤣🙄C9250218-C8E2-4765-81E2-A11AEB64769A.webp

I hope he recovers quickly. Sometimes guinea pigs like to keep us on our toes with repeated vet visits. I swear my boys used to have a rota of who’s turn it was to go to the vets.

We’re back home. While waiting, I noticed a white line on his other eye. So I asked the vet to check both. His right eye, which I noticed yesterday, is apparently healing already 😳 the other eye is just starting. She used green dye and I could see it. Ulceration.

She also said his conjunctiva is a little swollen on one eye. I’m to watch it and get him in if it swells more. He was a star while I put the drops in. Didn’t flinch 😍
