ToffeeFudge1
New Born Pup
Hi all
I’ve read so many threads which have really helped me getting set up with my rescue pigs, so thank you so much.
I have Toffee & Fudge, short hair rescues, unsure of age. Fudge is younger, possibly 3-4 (in the cuddle cup in cage picture). Toffee maybe 4-5 (black & gold, last picture) but both have cataracts and could be older.
Rodney is our newest, very lively and cheeky Ridgeback, he’s 2.
My question is around litter tray for the senior pig, Toffee. At the moment I have two small trays with a lowered entrance (pic 1). She can go in the entrance, but struggles to jump in the side (9cm high). The other two jump in and out.
I am extending the cage and have removed the divider, and now need to change to one larger tray now we have more piggies. But I’m concerned about Toffee being able to get in and out. The ones I’m looking at are square garden drip/gravel trays around 50-60cm square, which are 7-9cm high. Would it work to make her a small ramp from a wooden flexi bridge? Or is there a better solution?
Thanks so much
