self barbering?

has anyone heard of or seen a lone guinea pig self barbering? I currently have 1 long haired guinea pig in quarantine after being rehomed from somewhere else. When she arrived, she had nice long hair. But yesterday I noticed the hair around her head and neck is all short and stumpy, with one long tuft left.
Is it possible she is self barbering? The hair around her hind end is lovely and long still.
 
It is possible, but i wonder if she would physically be able to reach hair around her head and neck...?
 
It is possisble. My little single boy did this recently. He's peruvian cross I think so the change was dramatic.
 
yeh i think she is a peruvian cross, as her hair is usually very long. I just wondered if it would be possible for her to barber those particular areas, but I guess she must be able to reach. I wonder if it is boredom because she is alone at the moment? I guess it wont last long as she is going to have a little friend on Saturday.
 
I would think she could reach there. Somehow my little boy managed to barber his fringe. ?
