Hello, my guineapig had a huge bladder stone removed five weeks ago. He was fine after the op and was put on anti biotics for two weeks. He was still weeing blood after the two weeks post op so the vets gave a one month course of septrim. His wee seems to still have blood in it, it’s not bright red but a pink/orange type colour. Just wondering whether any body else has any post op bladder stone experience? After having a major op I am so worried, I don’t know what normal colour wee should look like, although his friends isn’t this colour. Many thanks in advance.

It’s difficult to tell from photos but when pee is exposed to the air a while it can oxidise, so looks a different colour. If this is fresh pee then I’d contact your vet again.
