Can Guinea Pigs eat kiwi seeds. cause they are like super hard to remove. i dont think its even possible.pow-pow

I was going to ask this myself, I peeled them because I thought the skin was harmful, then tried to slice without getting the seeds, I ended up throwing them away because they ended up like mush! They had a very small amount of it and seemed to like it but it wasn't enough to warrant throwing a practically full kiwi away!

Hope someone can help!

Given the tiny size of kiwi seeds and the time it would take to remove them, they are perfectly fine for them to eat. Kiwis are very good with loads of Vitamin C. They are acidic, so watch out for those guineas with sensitive lips. My pigs have never had a problem with them though, and eat them pretty much whole after a good wash, with skin and all. It's a fibre and vitamin frenzy. I must add, they get them very rarely as they are so expensive!

They are 49p in Lidl at the moment! ;)

Honestly, they can have the skin and everything? Is it in moderation like apples or could I give them half now to fight over? :(|)

I'd give in moderation, they might very well love them but they should be treated like sweets because they're quite acidic and...sweet! Try them with a couple of slices today and then a bit more in a couple of days. I always give a small piece of new food first and let it settle for a couple of days before I go full portion size. I would be happy giving my pigs up to 1/4 of a kiwi (each) a couple of times a week. That's my experience with kiwi fruit anyway, maybe somebody has a different opinion! I wish I had a Lidl close by, never mind the pigs, its been ages since I had a kiwi!
