Can anyone recommend a security camera system, wireless, motion detection so it can record to the cloud I suspect, probably need a couple of camera's.

For the second time, I've had my hutch tampered with...now considering I'm rural and whilst I have neighbours I can't point fingers. yes it would be easy to put padlocks on them, but that's not the point. I want to catch the f***rs.

Thanks muchly...only slightly fuming right now and off to do study and frankly i really can't be arsed after that welcome home.

All piggies appear to be fine.

I'm sorry this doesn't answer your question but I would feel the same! I know how scary it is! A couple of times now I've come home to my rabbit running free on the lawn- now he is let out by me but only when I'm there to supervise! And there is no way he can get out or open the doors by himself. It's rather scary but luckily it hasnt happened for a long time.

Oh golly! How awful! :(
This is a great company www.spycameracctv.com I have a phone number for them too, they will be more than happy to provide you with a tailor made package at reasonable cost. I'll pm it if you want it x

It's so annoying isn't it, only because you worry what more could happen when you aren't there.

Well, after hubby came home and I went crackers about it. He even said, are you sure you closed the doors....er, yeah, because I don't open the doors first thing in the morning, I only pull back the covers, do a check. I feed them after work, they get the full M.O.T. then so I know I hadn't opened the blooming doors.

Anyway, I now have a very expensive cctv system on it's way...Hubbie has brought an all singing all dancing thingy...I thought he'd do some more research but he spent about 1.5hrs then said came into the dining room (me doing study), and said well I've ordered a system, we can extend it to the garage (that's another story), HD, motion detection, 2 way speaker so I can shout at people through an app. Oh yeah, I am going to up my gardeners if they so much as go near my hutches.....or anyone else.

If it's not good enough, it will be returned and I'll check out your link in more detail Tim. I honestly didn't think we'd sort something out so quickly. Can't wait to get the thing delivered and working...I'm going to speak to my electrician tomorrow and get some more lights working as well out the back...seriously gonna scare the crap out of these people.

That's awful, sorry to hear , what's wrong with people, hope you catch them. X

Oh I think I will get them, I'm not telling anyone we've got them...but they'll soon figure it out when I confront them with the video evidence, apart from the fact they are trespassing. Should be interesting.

Hopefully your new system will have a night vision lens/infra red recording too?
Its a handy thing to have  although can appear a bit grainy its great.

One of the most frustrating things about a CCTV system for u -I'm sure... Will be that you must put up clearly visible signs to say you have CCTV in operation.
Your system should come with stickers anyway.
Just make sure you display them or it could be u in trouble for filming.... Wtf! human rights for the perpetrator &not the victim strikes again!
Ps If you change your mind about your husbands order, you do have your cooling off period to cancel it. Distance selling regulations &all that. :)

Glad the guineas are ok  &hopefully you'll catch the culprits or even better scare them off so they dont tamper with the hutch again.

Very curious how they could tamper with the hutches?

Anyway, hope you and the piggies are ok. It must be such a shock! I can't believe anyone would actually have the nerve to trespass in the first place and then to endanger someone else's pets! Disturbing.

I really hope you catch those nasty people who have nothing better to do with their lives and they are clearly sad, sad people (because they don't have guinea pigs :)). I really hope they don't have pets.

I would put the CCTV signs somewhere quite discreet, so you don't scare them off. My Dad has his on the back fence door so it is quite easy to miss, but you'd have to be short sighted to miss the actual cameras.

Fingers crossed the CCTV all works and is delivered shortly.

It's such a shame that people think its ok to touch others peoples property. I hope you manage to find something that works for you Lil.
