can anyone tell me where I can find the square shaped metal mesh pannels that you can click together? I have seen this being used to build guinea pig homes and I want to try it - or if anyone can tell me an alternative it would be very useful. I have been trying to find bigger cages, but it would seem that I have the biggest I can afford anyway, soI'd like to make something over 2 levels with different area's so Trixie and her new friend will have more space to run around in.

I am on a tight budget - so nothing too expensive.

Any info greatly received!

Are you in the UK?

The C&C set isn't on the B&Q website anymore but is in some stores still. Check your local stores if you can, it will be down the storage and shelving aisle Should be called something like mesh storage cube.

Or amazon for this set:

I searched the words cube mesh on amazon.co.uk and loads came up by a make called Displaysense, all different pack sizes, but they are really expensive. I've just spent £100 on an indoor cage so I'm not going to consider making a cage until they are bigger now.

In Costco you can get them for £10 a pack (you do need to be a member) but it's very inexpensive compared to buying cages if you get them from the right place.
