anybody else waiting with crossed fingers to see which school there child has got into?
 
You are lucky you have a choice in your area.

We only have one which is at the moment in under special measures and they are thinking of closing it.

Our only other option is a 20+ mile drive over the moors.

Sounds like schools are getting as bad as hospitals. They're trying to close everywhere it seems. >:(
My boy has been accepted into the nursery we wanted. A 5 min walk, we're quite lucky.
 
Good luck with your secondary school placement cavy - got my fingers and toes crossed you get the school of your choice (this will be us next year!).
 
Josh should be ok I registered on line the day I got the letter asking which school plus his 3 older brothers went there and its our nearest any others would need a bus which as Josh has ADHD I would refuse on medical grounds so am hopeful he gets his one we all want, is it today we get the letter then? hope you all get the ones you want life certainly has changed since we was young

yah Josh got in to the school we applied for got letter this morning, anyone else got good news?

Hope people got into the schools they wanted ;) I'm not exactly in the best school ever, but it's the closest, any other is a bus ride away and it's not that bad. (I'm in year 8 already btw ;))

I am waiting to find out, we already have a son at this school so only pt the one school down, i hope we get it though :-\


It is getting very bad with reguards to school not like it used to be with the village school,
 
i wish i looked more into secoundary schools before i filled in the form for where i am at now. in primary i followed the sheep and I'm failing at just 10 weeks til sats. :-\

i cant hear in lessons, cause teachers cant teach or cant control classes.
i get amused easily so can get distracted.
i never want to go in because of bullying.

i wish i went to the best school in Coventry, i hate the new kid situation of moving half way through! :(
 
Try not to get distracted - if you do well you might get into a better class with less distraction and better teachers - do they have streaming in your school?
Its your chance to get as much as you can from the education system - grab it with both hands coz its over all too quickly.
 
The school dont care, the teachers blame us.
my grades: last year science - top level 5. this year - level 4.
last year english - level 6 this year - ?
last year maths - level 6 this year - 6.
