New Born Pup
Hi,
I just want a second opinion in if i should book my 2 guineas into the vets.
Basically, the past few weeks my 2 girls have had squishy and wet poop. Guinea pigs poop are not meant to be wet and are meant to be firm and formed. They have been eating and drinking as normal and active. My 2 year old girl has also had bloating a lot and i can hear her stomach growl from in their cage and I'm not sure how to help. Ive stopped feeding them cucumber for a week or so as apparently that could be a reason for their wet poop and all they have on a daily basis is lettuce, pepper and celery and cucumber and the odd carrots and tomatos every week. On friday i noticed one of their poops were like really dark nearly black colour so that has worried me and i nred a second opinion if i should definitely get them to the vets. I cant stop giving them veg and keep them off veg for a few days as i have a younger guinea pig who needs that and i cant feed them separately as my young guinea pig will only eat close to my older one and squeaks otherwise without her.
Thank you
