Hi everyone.

I don’t know if it’s just me wanting to get angry at something but I would appreciate opinions/ advice here.

So as those who’ve read my posts know, my piggy fudge has Osteodystrophy.

It effects his jaw which has resulted in him only being able to take food from a syringe.

At the moment he’s going through a phase where he’ll eat mush on his own without our help and then he won’t. Other days he’ll eat tonnes of food through the syringe.

I have copies of the x rays that the vets took. They haven’t officially diagnosed him, they just guessed it could be that as they don’t know much about the condition 🙄.

Can anyone tag a vet on here to look at them?
Thanks

We are just ordinary folk and not vets who give the benefit of our experience to others and try to help them. Have you tried another vet for a 2nd opinion? Have a look at our Recommended Guinea Pig Vets for forum recommended vets if you have not already done so.

It's so frustrating having an ill piggy and not being able to get a proper diagnosis. I had to take my Meg all the way up to Northampton to see Kim and Simon at the C&R last year as my vet (usually excellent with all things piggy) couldn't find what was wrong with her. Kim diagnosed what was wrong in 10 mins. If you can manage a trip to Northampton it's definitely worth it.
