Scratching or Grooming

As I am very new to owning guinea pigs, I cannot tell whether or not my guinea pigs are scratching or grooming.
I have only seen them do it once or twice at a distance, at one area on the fur.

But the paw has been moving very fast,
Would it do them any harm to get some lice'n'easy in case it is lice? or Should I just wait and see?

Humm I am no expert but I would look at the area of skin they are scratching to see if you can see a sore or anything, check the fur and see if they do it in the same place over and over or all over.

It could just have been a bad itch but worth keeping an eye on.
