Who's had this? It's blooming painful isn't it?

I've got mine back now after being free of it for 3 years! :( I'm in so much pain and I can't get anywhere by myself. I'm reliant on lifts to get to work and back but can't go anywhere else. Hubby is very stingy with lifts.
My mum is in hospital in Central London and I want to visit Bev but I can't get anywhere :( All this just in time for Xmas. Triffic eh? :( If it doesn't get better by xmas day I won't even be able to go to the pub :(

This is the third time I've had it now and I'm really fed up with it. :(

Sorry to be such a damp squip. I had to get that off my chest.

Moan over now :)

I've had it & yes it is v.painful a literal pain in the ass! :(

Thankfully i only had the that once. I really feel for you

I've had this and my dad just getting over the worst of it now too! Know how bad and painful it is sweetie :(

I had it some years back and was bed-ridden, at the same time I was due for an exam (did it laid up in bed! ;)). My dad has had 6 weeks off work with it, ok been back 3 weeks now but is not 100%.

Massive but gentle hugs

x

Thankfully never had it myself, but I know it can be nast and even affect your "waterworks"..oops...maybe too much info ::)

It's never affected my "waterworks" thank goodness. I've never heard that before. ?

The good news is that I perservered through the pain and continued to exercise it and *touch wood* it seems to be easing off a lot now. I went to my dance class social last night and was able to do quite a lot of dances. I'm so pleased. :)

Oh sorry to hear of this, what a bummer, bad timing eh always the way
My Grandmother suffered and it was hard work for her NOT nice :'(
Do hope things get better for you, take care :-* :-*

Thanks. I am determined not to let it take over my life again like it has before. Now, instead of getting upset and giving in to it, I face it head on. I will not let it beat me. Although it hurts to keep exercising it, I know that if i keep at it, it will go away. :)

Never heard that before, and haven't heard of anyone having that problem :)

i've only had it once but I won;t ever forget! Hope it gets better soon. Why don't you hire one of those fit male house maids who just wear an apron to tend to your piggies? bet that'd make you feel a bit better ;)

its awlful is'nt it? any back problem lays you out for weeks, you feel so useless. when I had my 3rd son he was big 9lb 8oz and born so quick he snapped my coccyx and i have had back problems ever since he is now `17, and still causing me pain lol but i found a great cushion that has a cut out for the lower back the tail bone (coccyx) that is great, physio neve helped but this cushion helps take the pressure off, dont know if it would work for sciatica , yes i ahev also heard about sciatica and the waterworks being affected

I'm with you totally right now!

Been having really bad backaches and leg cramps for the past couple of weeks, only to get in doctors today to find that I'm in the same boat!

Was thinking it was this, but hoping that it was going to be a pain for a few days! :-\

I don't have sciatica, but have a slightly twisted spine which is bad at the moment from lifting lots of hutches yesterday, and building new ones, and i currently have one of those new heat wraps on fingers crossed it works!
