OMG I am so fed up with the bloody school run, there has been an accident on the M20 so consequently Maidstone is gridlocked and it took me over 35 Min's to go 10Min's down the road,
I need to scream, win the lottery and move to walking distance from the school, I need to scream AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
sorry thanks for listening ::)

Oh gosh its a nightmare isnt it when you only want to do a short journey.

I know what you mean, we had to move our son's nursery, and consequently school, because even at 3 years old he was being bullied really badly and the nursery weren't doing anything about it. It turned out that he was rebelling then and turned into a horrible child! Anyway, changing nursery did the trick but now we have to go by car - sometimes the traffic is so bad that it takes us ages to get there and i'd have been quicker parking up and walking the last bit! Managed to find a different way through an estate now where I can park up and cut through right by the school crossing :)

I sympathise piggybaker. I had to travel from Maidstone to Chartham, just outside Canterbury this morning and the roads were unbelievable! The traffic heading London bound was tailed back for miles and just as I approached junction 9 on the M20 they shut the London bound carriageway between junctions 8 and 9 due to overturned lorries! They said on the radio that holdups of 3 hours could be expected!

When I had finished my meeting around noon junction 9 was still closed so I found my way home via the country roads, which were decidedly dodgy in all the rain.

Something to be said for having schools/work on your doorstep, although I bet there are some downsides too! Lets hope tomorrow proves to be a better day.

I heard about the accident on the M20 this morning - poor you getting stuck in it.

But you must feel for those involved in it and how tragic the loss of life was :'(

Gee am i glad we don't live near the city, i couldn't stand to have to go thru all that traffic everyday :P
Just to go from our house, take Dee to school and then onto work is about 10 kilometers most of the time it will take me 25 minutes so i suppose i can't really complain.

My school and mums work is just down the street nearly... we dont even have a car but if we need to we borrow my nans :) I'm glad we dont live near the city too hey! I'm more of a country girl :)
